first_imgBuncrana GAA Notes for Week Ending Sunday 23rd February 2014Coláistí Inis Eoghain in first-ever McLarnon Cup Final The Club was well represented on Sunday as Inishowen Colleges saw off the challenge of Patrician College Carrickmacross to make it to their first ever colleges provincial final. Rising senior county player Darrach O’Connor was man of the match achieving a personal tally of 3-06. Darrach obviously didn’t spend too long at the club dinner dance last night where he was a special guest and presented many of the awards! Kevin McLaughlin also scored an important goal at a crunch time in the game and John Campbell pitched in with 4 points too. Caolan McGonagle, Shane McLaughlin, Jack O’Loughlin and Sam Doherty also played a big part in this historic day for Inishowen and are great source of pride to their Club. Well done lads!Scor na nOg It’s all systems go now as attention will be focused on events in Castlebar this Saturday. Our really talented team from the club will be going all out to add a National title to their Ulster one in the Scor na nOg National Final.
