first_imgLetterkenny Gaels GAA News: Both our Senior & Reserves recorded good victories over neighbours Naomh Colmcille at the weekend. The Seniors won their game on a scoreline of 1-06 to 0-6 while the Reserves won comfortably by 4-12 to 1-02. This Bank Holiday Monday we are away to Burt with the Reserves throwing in 1.30pm and the Seniors at 3pm. Congrats to Shane Graham and Cormac Cannon who were members of the Donegal GAA Minor team that retained the Ulster Minor League. They beat Derry in Healy Park on a scoreline Donegal 2-14 Derry 1-11. Congrats also to Oisin Cannon for his involvement in the team. With the summer holidays fast approaching we have finalised dates for our Hurling Fun Week, Camogie Crew & Cúl Camp.The Hurling Fun week runs from 6th to 10th of July, Cúl Camp is from 27th to 31st July and the Camogie Crew is provisionally penciled in for the 3rd week of July.Our annual 5k road race & fun run is fixed for Tuesday 2nd June. This race is part of the Donegal Athletics Board Grand Prix Series and more details will be published in the coming weeks.Sympathy is extended to the Shields & Crossan families of Hawthorn Heights & Knocknamona on their recent bereavement.CLG Dhún na nGall will sponsor six (6) grants of €250 to members from Clubs in the County attending a Coláiste Gaeilge of their choice in Dún na nGall this summer.In addition, our Club has received 2 scholarships @ €150 each which can only be used in one of following three Colleges- Coláiste Bhríde, Rann na Feirste, Coláiste Mhuire, Loch an Iúir​, & Coláiste Aoidh Mhic Bricne, Teileann.
